U-Tapao Alumni Association consists of Veterans who were PCS, TDY, or just passing though UT. Home of the B52, KC135, U2, P3, Red Horse, and Support Personnel of SEA from 1966 to 1976. Known as U-Tapao Airport today.  

  This page is in memory to a Grand Gentleman by the name of Bob Lane. We in the U-Tapao Alumni lovingly knew him as "Grandpa" Lane who is pictured above and below with his lovely and caring Wife Edie.
The picture below was taken at the 2001 U-Tapao Alumni (West Coast) Reunrion. 

 Grandpa loved flying. It all started when he was a teenager with a J-1 like this:

 and migrated while in the military to a  P-61 like this:
