Q:  I need to get away for a while (Family time, etc.).
     What course of action do you recommend?

I We really wish anyone would reconsider leaving the group.
All members have the option of setting their personal email to:

              1)  Individual Messages  - Every Message emailed to you.
              2)  Digest                         - Compiled messages throughout the day.
              3)  Special Notices         - ONLY Special Notices emailed to you.
              4)  No email                    - Must go to Yahoo! Groups to read messages.

and I recommend Option 4 if you simply wish to get away for a while. That way you are still a member and can login and change your email settings to your liking at a future date.
